Gujrat-headquartered Solarium Green Energy Limited, a provider of turnkey solar solutions, has planned to re-enter solar module manufacturing with a 1 GW automated facility in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. The project involved an INR 70 crore (~$8.18 million) capex and a 3:1 debt-to-equity funding mix. The facility focused on crystalline silicon PV modules using TOPCon, half-cut, and bifacial technologies with imported equipment. Solarium also began manufacturing solar structures at its Bavla unit to support project execution. A collaboration with WattPower Systems aimed to distribute inverters in Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra.
