Delhi-headquartered Servotech Renewable Power System Ltd., is awarded a INR 73.70 crore (~ $8.88 million) grid-connected rooftop solar project by the New & Renewable Energy Development Corporation of Andhra Pradesh Ltd. (NREDCAP) under the PM Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana, and the mandate has covered household-level deployment in the Kavali division. Servotech Renewable said the project has required design, engineering, supply, installation, testing, commissioning and five years of O&M for rooftop systems serving 5,886 SC and ST households through a Utility-Led Aggregation (CAPEX) model. As per Servotech Renewable, the assignment has supported wider solar access for underserved groups, and Sarika Bhatia added that the project has demonstrated the company’s readiness for large distributed deployments.
