Servotech Renewable Power System, a Delhi-based clean-energy manufacturer, has said it received an INR 16.31 crore (~$ 1.82 million) order from Railway Energy Management Company. The project requires the company to design, supply and commission solar power systems at the Dedicated Freight Corridor Corporation of India Ltd complex in Noida. The scope includes ground-mounted and rooftop on-grid solar plants of varying capacities. The company has stated that the work is scheduled for completion within 12 months of the letter of award. REMCL, a joint venture between RITES and the Ministry of Railways, has awarded the project through a domestic tender. Servotech has clarified that the order is free of related-party transactions and that its promoter group has no financial interest in the awarding entity.
