Senvion India, a Bengaluru-based wind turbine maker, and KP Group, a Gujarat-based renewable energy provider, have signed a framework agreement to jointly develop up to 2 GW of wind and wind–solar hybrid projects over the next three years. KP Group companies were assigned site identification and development roles, including land acquisition, permits, approvals and Balance of Plant work. Senvion India was set to supply wind turbine generators under project-specific deals. Both companies said they would continue operating independently while coordinating execution tasks. The agreement was described as creating a more streamlined process from planning to commissioning.
