Solar Energy Corporation of India Limited (SECI), an India-based renewable energy implementing agency, has invited bids for grid-connected rooftop PV projects with capacity of 5,665 kW. The Request for Selection seeks solar power developers to set up a cumulative  under the 'Renewable Energy Service Company' (RESCO) model. Under the RESCO model, the selected Solar Power Developer is required to design, install, commission, and operate grid-connected rooftop PV projects, including obtaining all approvals and undertaking full operation and maintenance for the PPA term. The tender forms part of RTSPV Tranche-VIII and will be awarded through tariff-based competitive bidding. The bid processing fee for participation in the RfS has been set at INR 6,000 (~$66). The RfS was notified under reference number SECI/C&P/IPP/11/0018/25-26, and a pre-bid meeting has been scheduled for January 27, 2026. Online bid submissions of the tender will close on February 17, 2026, followed by offline submissions on February 19, 2026. Bid opening is scheduled for February 20, 2026.
