Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI), an Indian government owned renewable energy procurement agency, has invited bids for balance of system (BOS) works for a 700 MW AC ground-mounted PV power plant at Radha Nesda, Gujarat. The scope includes engineering, procurement, supply, installation, testing, commissioning, and five years of operation and maintenance. The tender follows an online single-stage, two-envelope process with e-reverse auction. An e-reverse auction is an online bidding process where suppliers compete in real time by lowering prices, enabling transparent and cost-efficient procurement. The bid processing fee is INR 25,000 (~ $275). The earnest money deposit requirement is INR 330,500,000 (~ $3,635,500). The performance bank guarantee is set at 10% of the contract value. The tender pre-bid meeting is scheduled for 19 January 2026. Online and offline bid submission closes on 29 January 2026 and the bid opening is scheduled for 29 January 2026. Recently, BC Jindal Group has signed a 150 MW RTC PPA with SECI under its 1,200 MW tender.
