Sangam India, Bilwara-based garments manufacturer, signed a solar agreement for the development of a 27 MWp solar energy plant with IB Vogt Solar India. According to Sangam India, the capacity allocated to the firm allows for a tolerance level of up to 5% to factor in certain technical aspects. The company reported that the agreement was set to enhance the usage of renewable energy, apart from controlling the cost of energy in the long run. Sangam India clarified that this agreement does not result in the acquisition of equity interests in IB Vogt Solar India; further, this agreement is not a related-party transaction. As reported by Sangam India, this agreement was done on an arm's-length basis. For the period ended Q2 FY26, Sangam India reported that its consolidated net profit increased by 316.8 percent year-over-year to INR 23.13 crore, apart from registering net sales of INR 786.18 crore, showing a 16.4% increase from the same period last year.
