India based SAEL Industries, renewable energy company, a has commissioned a 1 GW solar plant at the renewable energy park in Khavda, Gujarat. The project has 25-year power purchase agreement with Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Ltd. The plant spans about 3,600 acres and deploys over 1.5 million TOPCon bifacial modules, with more than 60% assembled at the company’s facilities in Punjab and Rajasthan. The project is executed through SAEL Solar P4 Private Limited and SAEL Solar P5 Private Limited. SAEL Industries operates in agri waste-to-energy, utility-scale solar and solar module manufacturing, with a solar IPP portfolio of over 8.3 GW in India.
