Indian solar module manufacturer, Saatvik Green Energy Limited, has commissioned a 2 GW in-house EPE encapsulant film facility at its Ambala campus,Haryana. The facility has been integrated within the existing module manufacturing complex, enabling closer control over encapsulant quality and production timelines. According to Saatvik Green Energy Limited, captive EPE manufacturing has improved oversight of material formulation, lamination performance, and optical consistency for high-wattage modules. The company has stated that near-zero internal logistics has supported just-in-time material supply and lean shop-floor operations. Saatvik Green Energy Limited has reduced exposure to external suppliers, import dependencies, and logistics costs through the new line. The facility has also enabled faster encapsulant customization for utility-scale, commercial, and export-oriented solar module requirements.
