Roofsol Energy Pvt Ltd, Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) of Solar Power Plants, has announced the signing of a Power Purchase Agreement with Greenlam Industries Ltd for a total capacity of 8 MW across three locations. The project includes 4 MW in Naidupeta, Andhra Pradesh, 2 MW in Tindivanam, Tamil Nadu, and 2 MW in Nalagarh, Himachal Pradesh. The plants are expected to generate approximately 12.5 million units of electricity annually and offset nearly 1 lakh tons of greenhouse gas emissions. The partnership demonstrated Greenlam’s clean energy adoption and Roofsol Energy’s capability to execute large-scale, multi-location solar projects.The agreement supports both companies’ operational energy needs with renewable sources.This follows Roofsol Energy’s 92.66 MW rooftop solar initiative in India, backed by Aseem Infrastructure Finance.
