India’s PV manufacturer RenewSys India Pvt. Ltd. has entered into an agreement with Pahal Solar to supply 500 MW of EPE encapsulant films for solar module manufacturing. The supply period was scheduled from November 2025 to March 2026 to support Pahal Solar’s expanding production capacity. The agreement has covered Ethylene Vinyl Acetate – Polyolefin Elastomer – Ethylene Vinyl Acetate (EVA-POE-EVA) co-extruded encapsulants intended for durability, potential-induced degradation resistance and compatibility with advanced cell technologies such as TOPCon. Pahal Solar stated that the procurement supported the use of domestically manufactured components and reduced dependence on imported materials. RenewSys confirmed that the encapsulants were produced in India for high-efficiency module applications.
