Germany based RENA Technologies has signed contract with CELLORAA ENERGY PRIVATE LIMITED to supply advanced wet chemical processing systems for a 1.2 GW TOPCon solar cell manufacturing line in Surat, Gujarat. The project marks the first TOPCon manufacturing facility of its kind in the state. The partnership began with a handshake at the TaiyangNews Solar Technology Conference India 2026 in Delhi and was formalized on February 24, 2026. RENA will deliver InEtchSide 4+ and N600 batch platforms to support high-efficiency TOPCon cell production, scheduled for the end of FY 2026-27. The equipment is engineered to cut water use and wastewater by around 50% and operates without H₂O₂ in key steps. CELLORAA will leverage RFL water-capping technology and receive local support from IMC, Mumbai. Both companies are also preparing an MOU to advance water-saving processes and next-generation cell concepts including IBC.
