Proof & Experimental Establishment (PXE), a India based DRDO laboratory, has invited expressions of interest from Indian companies to develop a 5 MW ground mounted grid connected PV plant with BESS at Chandipur. The selected solar power developer will design, finance, construct, evacuate power to the State Transmission Utility substation, and operate and maintain the project for twenty five years under RESCO mode. Bidders must demonstrate experience of at least 25 MW grid connected solar projects, including one 5 MW plant, along with specified O&M and performance credentials. Interested companies are required to submit their online responses by 1300 hrs on 30 January 2026. The official opening of the submitted bids will take place at 1400 hrs that same day. The EOI processing fee is nil.
