Prostarm Info Systems Limited, an India-based power and energy solutions provider, has been declared the L-1 bidder by Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) for a rooftop PV project in India. The order covers supply, installation, and commissioning of a 2 MW (AC) rooftop PV system at multiple buildings within the Burnpur Plant in West Bengal. The contract has been awarded under domestic procurement norms with a disclosed value of INR 6.71 Cr (~ $73.81 million). Execution of the rooftop PV system has been scheduled over a period of 12 months from the award date. Prostarm Info Systems Limited has stated that the order does not involve related party transactions and that its promoters or promoter group entities have no interest in the awarding authority.
