India-headquartered PNC Infratech Ltd has secured a 300 MW ISTS-connected solar project from NHPC Ltd. The award includes a 150 MW / 600 MWh energy storage system. It was part of NHPC’s 1.2 GW solar tender under tariff-based competitive bidding. The quoted tariff is INR 3.13 per KWh. Allotment was finalized through an electronic reverse auction held on July 15. The project is to be commissioned within 24 months from the PPA’s effective date. It will operate for a 25-year period under the agreement. PNC confirmed the award is from a domestic entity and not a related-party transaction. The contract aligns with national grid-connected solar capacity goals.
