Oswal Pumps Limited, an India-based vertically integrated solar pump manufacturer, has disclosed that its wholly owned subsidiary has secured a 7.46 MWp Grid Connected Rooftop Solar contract in Andhra Pradesh. The order, which was valued at INR 39.40 Crore (~ $4.33 million), has been awarded by M/s Swashakthi Energy under PM Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana. The contract scope has included design, engineering, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of rooftop systems for 3,729 SC & ST consumers through utility-led aggregation under CAPEX mode. The agreement has also provided five years of Operation and Maintenance from the date the rooftop systems were installed and commissioned. Swashakthi Energy had received the 7.46 MWp allocation from the New & Renewable Energy Development Corporation of Andhra Pradesh Ltd. and had assigned execution to the subsidiary.
