Oriana Power Limited, an India-based renewable energy EPC company, has received EPC purchase orders for a 234 MW floating PV plant in Jharkhand. According to the company disclosure under SEBI Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements Regulations, the order has been awarded by Damodar Valley Corporation. The 234 MW grid-tied floating PV plant will be installed at the Maithon Dam Reservoir in Jharkhand. Oriana Power will undertake engineering, procurement and construction activities including design, equipment supply, transportation, storage and installation of the PV facility. The EPC scope also includes civil and electrical works, plant erection, testing and commissioning, and comprehensive O&M services. The contract value is INR 1,180.53 Crores (~$129,858,300) including GST and the project is scheduled for completion within 18 months.
