NTPC Green Energy Ltd, a New Delhi-headquartered renewable power developer, has stated that commercial operations of 69 MW solar capacity at Khavda, Gujarat have commenced. According to NTPC Green Energy Ltd, the capacity is part of the 1,255 MW Khavda-I Solar PV Project implemented under the CPSU Scheme Phase II Tranche III. The company said that the newly commissioned capacity was scheduled to enter commercial operation from Thursday, following completion of project execution activities. As per NTPC Green Energy Ltd, the addition has increased its total installed capacity to 7,996.30 MW. With this development, the cumulative installed capacity of the NTPC Group has reached 85,610 MW, reflecting ongoing capacity additions within the group’s solar power portfolio in Gujarat.
