NTPC Green Energy, a renewable energy subsidiary of NTPC Limited headquartered in New Delhi, has commissioned a 12.5 MW solar power capacity, according to an official filing by NTPC. NTPC Green Energy has stated that the project reached its commercial operation date on 17 October 2025.The update reflected the latest operational status within NTPC’s generation portfolio as reported under the Ministry of Power.  With this addition, NTPC Group’s total installed and commercial capacity increased to 83,906 MW across India, comprising both renewable and conventional power sources.
