NTPC Green Energy Limited, an India-based renewable energy company, has declared commercial operation of 165 MW portion under the Khavda-II Solar Project in India. The commissioned capacity represents the second part of the overall 1.2 GW project. The declaration has become effective from 00:00 hrs of 20.02.2026 under SEBI regulations. The whole project is owned by NTPC Renewable Energy Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of NTPC Green Energy Limited. Following this addition, the commercial capacity of the NTPC Green Energy Limited Group stands at 8827.68 MW. The total installed capacity of the group has increased to 8992.68 MW after inclusion. NTPC Limited has stated that the total installed and commercial capacity of the NTPC group will become 87,974 MW and 86,894 MW, respectively, after this commissioning.
