India's NTPC (National Thermal Power Corporation) has announced that its subsidiary NTPC Green Energy Limited has commissioned part capacity of a solar PV project in Andhra Pradesh. A capacity of 158.4 MW has been commissioned out of the total 250 MW solar PV project. The declaration of commercial operation was made effective from February 14, 2026. The declaration was based on a certificate received from Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) on February 20, 2026. Following this addition, NTPC Green Energy Limited group’s total installed capacity increased to 9.15 GW.The group’s current commercial capacity stands at 8.998 GW.
