NTPC Limited, a state-owned power producer based in New Delhi, has stated the commercial operation of a 37.95 MW solar facility in Gujarat. This facility is part of the 300 MW Khavda Solar Energy Project developed by NTPC Renewable Energy Limited under NTPC Green Energy Limited. Earlier project segments of 142.2 MW, 32.8 MW, and 49.125 MW became operational between June and August 2025. According to NTPC’s filing, the fourth phase was declared operational on October 19, 2025, bringing the total commissioned capacity at the Khavda site to 262.07 MW. The company also noted that NTPC Green Energy Limited’s overall installed capacity reached 7,553.675 MW with the inclusion of this unit.
