NLC India Ltd., public sectory company in minning and power generation, has commissioned the entire 300 MW Barsingar Solar Power Project at Barsingar in Rajasthan under the MNRE CPSU scheme. The first phase of 52.83 MW was commissioned in August 2025. The second phase of 106 MW was declared commercially operational in November 2025 and the remaining capacity has now been commissioned. With the full capacity commissioned, NLCIL’s renewable energy installed capacity has increased to 1.766 GW. The company’s total installed power generation capacity stands at 7.726 GW.The project has been developed using domestically manufactured solar PV modules and the entire power generated is supplied to the State of Rajasthan.
