National Hydroelectric Power Corporation Limited (NHPC Ltd), a public sector hydropower company in India, has started commercial operations of the third phase of its Karnisar Solar Power Project. The newly operational phase adds 53.57 MW to the 300 MW project located in Bikaner.The trial run was completed on June 5, 2025. With this, the project's cumulative operational capacity reached 160.71 MW out of the planned 300 MW. The company shared the update through a regulatory filing.
