NHPC Limited, an Indian power production firm, has issued bids for choosing the developers for the PV deployment in the state of Uttar Pradesh in India. The RfS has been issued by NHPC on behalf of its joint venture with Uttar Pradesh New and Renewable Energy Development Agency (UPNEDA). The request for selection is applied to the development of the 4 x 300 MW solar power project in the Jalaun Solar Park,  under a tariff-based competitive bidding framework. Bids are being invited on a single stage, two part basis with e-reverse auction. The tender document specifies a processing fee of INR 20 lakh (~ $220,000) plus GST for 300 MW blocks. A processing fee of INR 30 lakh (~ $330,000) plus GST applies for bids covering 600 MW capacity. The earnest money deposit has been fixed at INR 10.00 crore (~ $1.10 million). Online bid submission closes on 05 September 2025, with technical bid opening scheduled on 10 September 2025.
