Maharashtra State Electricity Transmission Company Limited, an India-based transmission utility, has invited bids to develop 15 MW of grid-connected rooftop solar capacity across Maharashtra. The tender covers rooftop PV installations at EHV substations and selected administrative buildings owned by the transmission utility. Projects are to be implemented under the RESCO model, where developers are responsible for investment, operation, and maintenance. MSETCL has specified a two-bid e-tendering process for selecting eligible solar power developers. Grid-connected rooftop systems will be deployed across multiple sites to cumulatively achieve the notified 15 MW capacity. Bid submission and opening are being conducted through the utility’s designated electronic tendering portal. A pre-bid meeting was scheduled at the Prakashganga headquarters in Mumbai, with bid opening planned during January 2026.
