Shakti Pumps (India) Limited, an India-based pumping systems manufacturer, has announced an investment in its wholly owned subsidiary, Shakti Energy Solutions Limited. Shakti Pumps has invested INR 75.00 Crores (~ $0.83 million) to support the establishment of a greenfield Solar DCR cell and PV module manufacturing plant. The proposed facility is planned with a production capacity of 2.20 GW and will be located in Pithampur, Madhya Pradesh. Previously, Shakti Pumps completed a INR 292.60 crore qualified institutional placement to fund the same 2.20 GW Solar DCR cell and module manufacturing facility. Shakti Energy Solutions Limited was incorporated on September 06, 2010, and reported a turnover of INR 216.53 Crores (~ $2.38 million) for FY 2025. The filing states that no governmental or regulatory approvals are required for the investment.
