Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency (IREDA), a renewable energy financing institution of India, has achieved an Excellent rating under its MoU with MNRE for FY 2024–25. The rating, having a score of 96.42 out of 100, marks the fifth successive Excellent output of IREDA and was announced through an official government release dated January 8, 2026. Improvement in operational efficiency, financial discipline, and governance standards reflects in the sustained performance, the release said. These improvements were done after institutional reforms initiated post Fair rating of 45.83 in FY 2019–20. Union Minister Pralhad Joshi acknowledged the consistent performance achieved by the IREDA team. Pradip Kumar Das, Chairman and Managing Director of IREDA, conveyed his appreciation to employees, stakeholders, and Ministers Pralhad Joshi and Shripad Yesso Naik for their sustained support and continued guidance. Recently, IREDAreported YoY revenue and profit growth in Q3 FY25–26, supported by loan book expansion.
