November 2025 has seen several policy and regulatory announcements across India’s renewable-energy ecosystem. The Ministry of New and Renewable Energy has released the Renewable Energy Statistics 2024–25 report summarising national, state and international trends in installed capacity and electricity generation. It has also issued the second revision of ALMM List-II for solar PV cells, has updated ALMM List-I for modules and has sought stakeholder comments on proposed efficiency-threshold increases for future ALMM enlistment. The Central Electricity Regulatory Commission has published a staff paper proposing options for allocating connectivity where PPAs or Power Sale Agreements are delayed. The Central Electricity Authority has released draft bidding guidelines for grid-connected waste-to-energy projects and has issued minutes on standardising distribution-transformer designs nationwide. Eight State Regulatory Commissions have also issued regulatory amendments, including new rooftop solar and renewable Energy regulations.
