Malaviya Solar Energy, a Pune-based solar recycling solutions provider, has entered an exclusive licensing agreement with LuxChemtech GmbH, a Germany-headquartered recycling technology developer, for its patented process for recovering materials from end-of-life solar panels. According to LuxChemtech GmbH, the method is based on a water-and-organic-chemical separation sequence designed to isolate embedded metals. Malaviya Solar Energy has stated that the process aligns with zero-waste principles while supporting higher EPR-certificate values through more than 98% metal recovery. The companies said the technology was developed for handling silicon scrap and specialised photovoltaic waste. The agreement has positioned Malaviya Solar Energy to establish circular-processing capability for growing domestic panel-recycling needs.
