India’s Mahindra Susten, a Green Energy Company, has commissioned 560 MW of utility-scale solar capacity in 2025 across Gujarat and Rajasthan. The assets marked the first projects delivered after the 2024 sale of 1.54 GW to Sustainable Energy Infra Trust, an InvIT co-sponsored by Mahindra Susten. The portfolio comprised two 280 MW projects, supplying power to Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam and Rajasthan Urja Vikas Nigam. The projects covered about 2,000 acres and were connected to state grids through 220 kV substations. Annual generation was estimated at nearly 1,000 million units. The construction involved around 12,400 tons of steel, 2,600 km of cabling and about one million solar modules.
