Mahatma Phule Renewable Energy and Infrastructure Technology Ltd (MAHAPREIT) has issued a Request for Selection on 17 January 2026 for a 100 MW grid-connected floating solar PV project at Tansa and/or Modak Sagar Dam in Maharashtra. The RfS was issued to select a solar power developer through a tariff-based competitive bidding process with an e-reverse auction. The project was structured on a build-own-operate basis with a power procurement period of 25 years. The ceiling tariff was fixed at INR 4.18 per unit. Bid documents were made available for online download from 17 January 2026 through the MAHAPREIT and Maharashtra e-tender portals. Site visits were allowed until 22 January 2026. The online bid submission is scheduled to start on 27 January 2026 and closes on 12 February 2026. Techno-commercial bids were scheduled to open on 16 February 2026.
