India based Juniper Green Energy has announced the start of power generation from its 72 MW final phase of its 133 MW hybrid power project in Solapur district, Maharashtra. The capacity developed by its subsidiary, Juniper Green Spark Ten Private Ltd, was commissioned on January 10, approximately 10 months ahead of the scheduled commercial operation date of November 17, 2026. In the first phase, around 36 MW of solar capacity was commissioned on September 25 last year. The power purchase agreement was signed on November 18, 2024, with Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited. The project had a PPA-linked hybrid capacity of 133 MW which comprises 108 MW of contracted solar capacity and 25 MW of installed wind capacity with .
