Mumbai-based power generation company, JSW Energy has completed a 281 MW renewable project in Maharashtra. The facility consists of 215 MW solar and 66 MW wind capacity. Following this, its subsidiary JSW Renew Energy Three signed a 25-year power purchase agreement with Adani Electricity Mumbai Ltd for 250 MW of STU-connected wind capacity at a tariff of ₹3.65 per kWh. The wind project under this agreement is expected to be commissioned within 24 months. With this addition, JSW Energy’s total renewable share rose to 55 percent of its installed capacity. The company’s total locked-in generation capacity stands at 29.9 GW, which includes 12.5 GW operational, 12.4 GW under construction, and 4.9 GW in the pipeline across various sources.
