India-based cleantech consulting firm JMK Research’s November 2025 update highlighted significant manufacturing expansion across India, led by Waaree Energies adding 3.6 GW of new module capacity in Gujarat and Vikram Solar commissioning a 5 GW plant in Tamil Nadu. Premier Energies announced an INR 5,942 crore (~$653.6 million) integrated hub in Nellore with 5 GW wafer-ingot and 4 GW TOPCon cell capacity, while PVV Infra will establish a 1 GW TOPCon cell plant in Andhra Pradesh. RJ Corp committed INR 1,743 crore (~$191.7 million) for a 2 GW cell and module facility, and Tata Power is assessing Odisha locations for a proposed 10 GW wafer-ingot project. The month also included notable module supply orders awarded to Saatvik Green Energy, Waaree Energies and Cosmic PV Power. Rooftop developments included a 90 MW residential tender under PM Surya Ghar, 31,000 installations in Andhra Pradesh, a local tax exemption in Lucknow and a 2 MW flexible rooftop project approved in Goa.
