Jakson Group, a Noida-based diversified energy and infrastructure group, has planned large-scale solar module exports from FY 27. According to Jakson Group, exports have targeted the United States, Europe, West Asia and Africa markets. The export strategy has been supported by an INR 8,000 crore(~ $880 million) 6 GW integrated solar manufacturing project. The greenfield facility has been developed in Madhya Pradesh with integrated modules, cells, ingots and wafers capacity. Jakson Group has operated a 1.2 GW module manufacturing plant in Greater Noida. As per Jakson Group, the first phase has added 3 GW capacity across modules, cells, ingots and wafers. Module production has been scheduled for May, while cell production has been scheduled for December. Following commissioning, Jakson Group’s module manufacturing capacity has reached 4.2 GW annually.
