A Government of india undertaking, ITI Limited has issued an Expression of Interest for a 5 MW grid-connected ground-mounted solar power plant in East Singhbhum, Jharkhand. The project is valued at INR 43.93 crore with a tender fee of INR 11,800 and an earnest money deposit of INR 87.86 lakh. Bids are to be submitted online under a two-bid system, with technical bids scheduled for opening on 9 September 2025. The contract includes design, engineering, procurement, construction, supply, installation, testing, commissioning, and 25 years of operation and maintenance. Bidders are required to meet prescribed eligibility, turnover, and experience criteria, and must provide financial security. ITI has stated that project modules will be supplied from its Naini premises. The lowest technically qualified bidder will be declared as L1 for contract award.
