The International Solar Alliance (ISA), an organization started by India and France in 2015, will hold its Seventh Regional Committee Meeting in Colombo from 15 to 17 July. People from governments, companies and institutions across the Asia-Pacific region will take part. They will talk about simple, ready-to-use ways to grow solar power in different countries. The group will also discuss how solar can help more people get access to energy. ISA is based in India and has 123 member countries. It works with governments to improve energy security using solar power. This meeting hopes to bring everyone together to plan for more solar use across the region.
