Inox Clean Energy, a part of INOXGFL Group, has started solar module production at its Bavla facility in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. The first phase has added 1.2 GW capacity from a planned 3 GW. The plant is fully automated and was completed within four months. It is equipped to manufacture N-type TOPCon modules using M10, G12R, and G12 solar cells. These modules include bifacial designs that enable dual-sided generation and improved productivity. The Bavla facility is scheduled to expand further to 3 GW in its second phase. Inox Solar, a subsidiary of Inox Clean Energy, is also developing an integrated 4.8 GW solar cell and module manufacturing plant in Dhenkanal, Odisha. The project has positioned the company to strengthen India’s domestic solar manufacturing capabilities and reduce import reliance.
