India-based INA Solar has announced the start of its fourth manufacturing facility at Narmadapuram, Madhya Pradesh, with 4.5 GW solar cell capacity. The company has steadily scaled its operations since beginning with 80 MW PV module production in 2017. By 2025, its capacity was expanded to 5.5 GW, reflecting consistent growth in manufacturing capability. Looking ahead, INA Solar has set targets to reach 10 GW PV module and 9 GW solar cell capacity by 2028. The company also planned production of 54,000 MTA aluminum frames within the same timeframe. These expansions were aligned with India’s national renewable energy goals, which aim for 900 GW by 2030. INA Solar’s projects highlight the ongoing development of domestic solar manufacturing infrastructure in the country.
