Delhi-basedHindustan Power, has stated that it secured a Solar Energy Corporation of India contract for developing a 150 MW hybrid project at suitable locations across India. According to Hindustan Power, the project has required around 300 MW of solar capacity and 300 MWh of battery storage under SECI’s ISTS-connected tender. The company has added that the system is designed for flexible deployment across suitable locations in India and was finalised through a tariff-based competitive bidding process followed by an e-reverse auction on the ETS portal. Hindustan Power is also commissioning its 435 MW solar project in Uttar Pradesh, a 100 MW solar plant with 100 MW storage in Assam, and a 120 MWh storage project in Bihar while delivering a 100 MW solar plant with 200 MWh storage for SJVN.
