Mumbai-headquartered Hinduja Renewables, an independent power producer, has signed an 86 MW group captive solar PPA and SHA with Lloyds Metals & Energy Ltd in Maharashtra. The agreement aimed to supply clean solar power to the metals and mining sector through open access. The project was expected to reduce 3.32 million tons of carbon emissions over its lifetime. It supported the clean energy transition and ESG efforts in the industrial sector. Hinduja Renewables managed a portfolio of over 270 MW and had 1,212 MW under construction.
