Hexatron Industries, a Gujarat-based manufacturer of solar equipment, has planned a INR 1,700 crore(~ $ 205 million) manufacturing investment in Ratlam, Madhya Pradesh. According to Madhya Pradesh Industrial Development Corporation, 61 acres have been allotted within the Ratlam Investment Region. The facility has been designed to manufacture solar modules, inverters, battery storage systems, and associated equipment. The proposed unit has targeted production capacity exceeding 200 MW and has aligned with ALMM requirements. Production has been scheduled to commence during 2026–27. The site has been located near the Delhi–Mumbai expressway, supporting logistics access. The project has been expected to generate around 3,000 direct jobs and 5,000–10,000 indirect jobs. Skill development programs have been planned locally, with employment preference for regional workforce participation.
