Gujarat State Electricity Corporation Limited (GSECL), an India-based power generating company, has filed a petition before the Gujarat Electricity Regulatory Commission (GERC) seeking tariff determination for 10 MW PV grid-connected power projects located India. The filing has been made under Section 62 read with Section 86 (1) (a) of the Electricity Act, 2003 for supply of electricity to a distribution licensee, and Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited (GUVNL) has been named as the Respondent in the proceeding. GERC has directed the Respondent to file its reply within 3 weeks, after which the Petitioner may submit a rejoinder within 3 weeks. According to order, the GERC has also directed issuance of public notices in two Gujarati newspapers and one English newspaper to invite stakeholder comments.
