Singapore-based Gstar has announced that its 183N and 210RN photovoltaic module series has achieved certification under India’s updated Bureau of Indian Standards requirements. The certification was issued in line with IS 14286:2023. BIS certification is mandatory in India for the import, sale, and deployment of PV modules under the Compulsory Registration Scheme, including for government projects. The certified modules have met technical requirements through testing and audits and combine N-type cells, multi-busbar design, and double-glass construction for performance and durability across Indian climate conditions. The series supports residential, commercial, and utility-scale applications. All certified modules are manufactured at Gstar’s Philippine facility with 1.5 GW cell and 3 GW module capacity, using automated and flexible production lines to supply the Indian market.
