India-based GP Eco Solutions India received aINR 121.29 crore (~ $14.56 million) EPC contract from Welkin Renewable India for a ground-mounted, grid-connected solar project in Punjab. The plant is planned to have a capacity of 24 MW AC / 31.67 MW DC and will operate under the Open Access Captive Metering Arrangement. The project is scheduled for commissioning by 31 March 2026. GP Eco Solutions is responsible for engineering, procurement, supply, installation, testing, commissioning, and handover. The company confirmed that the transaction involves no related parties. Following the announcement, GP Eco Solutions’ share price reached the 5% upper circuit limit at INR 541.80 (~ $6.50).
