India's Goa Energy Development Agency (GEDA) has invited bids for selection of solar power developers. The selected developers will establish 300 MW solar PV projects integrated with 150 MW / 900 MWh Energy Storage Systems across Goa. The projects will be implemented under a Build-Own-Operate-Transfer model. Connectivity will be provided to the STU network through tariff-based competitive bidding. The scope includes development of the complete evacuation infrastructure, covering transmission lines, construction of a new pooling substation and upgradation of an existing grid substation. The tender was published on 13-02-2026 with the last date for bid submission is 06-03-2026 and the tender opening scheduled for 09-03-2026. The document fee is INR 59000 and the Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) is INR 50000000 (~ $551562).
