Malaysia headquartered clean energy company, Gentari has commissioned a 150 MW open-access solar power plant at Dahegaon village in Wardha, Maharashtra. The project is connected to the state transmission utility and is among the largest for commercial and industrial (C&I) consumers in the state. It is expected to generate around 248 million kWh of electricity annually. With this addition, Gentari’s total solar capacity for the C&I sector in Maharashtra has crossed 225 MW. Over 300 local workers were engaged during the construction phase.
