Dilip Buildcon Limited, an India-based EPC firm based, has secured the L-1 bidder status from Madhya Pradesh Urja Vikas Nigam Limited. This award encompasses 1363.55 MW AC capacity in the Non-DCR category for grid-connected PV power plants. These plants are part of the PM KUSUM-C Feeder Solarization under the Surya Mitra Krishi Solarization initiatives throughout Madhya Pradesh. The generated power will be sold to Madhya Pradesh Power Management Company Limited through a 25-year PPA commencing from the Commercial Operation Date. The implementation will proceed through multiple Special Purpose Vehicles, with the EPC valued at INR 4900 crores (~ $539 million), excluding GST, over a period of 18 months. The agreement complies with MNRE guidelines and MPERC regulations regarding design, engineering, supply, construction, testing, commissioning, as well as 25 years of operation and maintenance. No companies within the promoter group hold any interest in the awarding entity. Recently, a 100 MW PV project in Mandsaur has been awarded to Dilip Buildcon and APM Power.
