India-based Datta Power Infra has commissioned two ground-mounted solar projects in Bhagwa village, Barmer district, Rajasthan. The projects have a combined capacity of 5.04 MW AC and were developed under the central government’s PM-KUSUM scheme (Component C). Power from these plants is being supplied directly to the nearby State Grid Sub-Station, ensuring stable electricity for local farmers. An additional 43 MW of solar projects under the same scheme are expected to be commissioned in the coming months. The company’s total order book has reached INR 2,800 crore (~ $336 million), with a reported 50 percent CAGR. Datta Infra has also launched Power Sprout Solutions (PSS), a dedicated EPC company with a 600 MW renewable energy order book covering solar, wind, hybrid, and RTC projects. The company has secured 120 MW of wind projects from SJVN and SECI, with construction planned to start soon. Datta Infra will handle the operation and maintenance of the commissioned solar plants for 25 years.
